Everyone, We are sad to report that Father Greene's Mother, Mary Rita Greene passed away on June 16, 2010. A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 26th, at 10am at St. Monica's Church on 23rd Ave. & Geary in The City. We just wanted to wish you a Happy New Year! May 2010 bring good health, prosperity, and joy to you and your family. 2010 may even bring us a new firehouse...don't hold your breath.
As we reflect on years past, we remember how honored we are to have had the chance to work with such great firemen. Your names are always popping up in the usual dinner table banter.
We look forward to seeing you in the new year at one of One's events. A retirement banquet is in the works...we're just trying to find a venue that we haven't been kicked out of yet.

Sportsfans - The Alley Cats - Back to Back
Hello Sportsfans,
This is your Alleycats Sports Update...On a windy & sunny Tuesday morning, Station One defended its' crown at Moscone (Funston) Field. After a mediocre regular season that ended way back in early June, The Alleycats, led by the ageless Chris Murphy, needed to win three games in a row. This hardchargin' squad defeated the lads from Chinatown in the 9am game. Next, the boys from Howard and 3rd faced station 13. Inspired by the return of left fielder Sean Zimmerman, after months on the DL, they proceeded to crush 13. It was now time to defend the title against the pride of the Mission, station 7. And, to cut to the chase, Station One defeated Station 7, 5-2. By the way, the league featured wooden bats only.
